Bmore's Brawl #5 - The Rufface & Beginner's Luck

Thanks to all those attending Bmore's Brawl #5 last Wednesday. We tied our record attendance last week at 24 entrants. The Brawl welcomed two new players last week with LGGQUE and heydaynow coming out to see some flops. Here's how the tourney went down...

Brawlers witnessed some sick beats in Week 5. My favorite by far was soooted42's crazy river on playingcatch. They get the money all in on the turn, and soooted42 tables "The Rufface," and delivers a stunning blow on the river:

That was one of many beats delivered in Week 5. There were too many to document, but CrazyDiggity wrote about one of two outers on his site if you want to check it out. At any rate, five Brawlers were able to navigate through the mine field for a cash in the Brawl. Congrats to thebmorekid, hslaw06, soooted42, que31dawg and heydaynow. Here's how the action went after the bubble:

After I had a quick bust after the money bubble, hslaw06 was the next casuality when he raced heydaynow and bricked out:

At this point, heydaynow was just crushing the final table. It looked like soooted42 was going to even up the table a little bit in this next hand, but the river changed all of that. Watch how he gets out flopped, turns a sick card, and then gets crushed by the river:

que31dawg battled hard, and at one point, got the chip counts pretty even. In the end though, it was heydaynow's day, as he took it down on this final hand:

Congrats to heydaynow for taking down Bmore's Brawl #5. It was a hard fought effort. With some lucky cards, a well played game, and a bit of beginner's luck he was able to make a name for himself in his first Brawl appearance. Final lobby is shown below:
