Bmore's Brawl #3- Beginner's Luck & the Awesome Power of Elmurst

We had another successful Bmore's Brawl last Wednesday. A special thanks goes out to roccav and momx2 for their appearances this week. Both first time brawlers had a very good showing. Let's start the update with Crazydiggity, mind27 and AltronIV in a classic three way battle:

I'm too tired to pokerstove it preflop, but that's a two-outer on the river. What fun it is, with one card to go, to be a 90.5% favorite against two hands... Ship that sherbert!

First time brawler roccav dominated the final table action with sound play, and a little help from the poker gods. After the money bubble burst, surfinRRT made a move to double up, when roccav looked down at the magical hand:

Forget that MoneyMaker won the 2003 WSOP with this hand and started the poker boom. Forget that I saw a guy on the WPT raise with this hand three times in a row and take two massive pots. If any evidence is needed for the power of the 45, I present to the courtroom Exhibit A- the power of Elmhurst:

Heads up, roccav and saveparmk72 took a flop with two cowboys and a nine ball. When the money got all in, roccav didn't have much of sweat to take it down:

My apologies for not getting this update out earlier in the week. Work was hectic with the mid-week trip to the Borgata WPT. I've got a lot of news from that trip that I'll post as soon as I can. See you all next week for Bmore's Brawl #4. It should be a good one.
